YUTORI
Misty dawn over the Tagaytay highlands

Our story

A spacious retreat in cool-weather Tagaytay

We built Yutori Guesthouse for the kind of rest that's hard to find an hour and a half from Manila. Up here, the air is cooler, the mornings are slower, and the ridge holds a quiet view of Taal Lake through the mist.

The design follows yutori — the Japanese sense of spaciousness and unhurried ease. Warm wood, linen, thin borders, and generous negative space. Nothing loud, nothing cluttered. Every room is built around a window and a moment of light.

We're a small, family-run guesthouse. We'll set out coffee in the morning, light the fire pit if the evening turns cool, and otherwise leave you to the quiet. That's the whole idea.

Slow mornings

Coffee on the low table, mist over the ridge, no schedule.

Cool air

600m above sea level — 18–26°C year-round, cooler after dark.

Quiet by design

Few rooms, generous space, calm by intention.
